Life will most certainly involve challenging transitions and we all would benefit from some help navigating life at different times. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor. I love what I do and enjoy working with adults, couples, and families on issues relating to substance abuse, mood and anxiety disorders, stress, anger and conflict management, self-esteem, grief, illness, career concerns, and coping with challenging life events and transitions.
I have over 10 years of experience providing crisis intervention and therapy to individuals, families, couples, and groups in diverse mental health settings. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was an insurance executive for a publicly traded corporation. Prompted by my own life transitions and the desire to help others heal, I made a decision to change professions and returned to school and obtained my Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
I utilize a holistic approach and a variety of evidence- based therapeutic interventions to assist clients with improving their quality of life and relationships. I am committed to providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment for you to identify and explore your strengths and resources, find growth and fulfillment, and heal. I would be honored to work with you.
