Amber has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman’s University. Amber’s passion for counseling is driven by her commitment to help people reach their full potential and her dedication to help others overcome life’s obstacles.
Amber has experience working with at risk youth, domestic violence victims, crisis intervention and individuals and families with a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, anger, grief and relationship building. Amber has experience working with counseling and psycho-educational groups including self-esteem issues, addiction and relaxation.
Amber uses an Adlerian perspective to determine all the facets of an individual’s life and implements eclectic techniques to cater to the client’s needs.
In her spare time Amber enjoys playing with her dog, spending time with family and friends, watching football and completing puzzles.
