Amy Rike is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she received her Master’s in Counseling and Bachelor’s in Psychology. She has over 15 years of experience helping adults and adolescents overcome obstacles and make positive changes in their lives. She has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient treatment settings providing individual, group, and family therapy. Her experience includes mood disorders, self-esteem and identity issues, substance abuse and addiction, and childhood and adult trauma.

Amy believes it is important to focus on the ‘whole’ person by addressing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of healing. She uses a number of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She has a special interest in women struggling with depression, self-esteem, assertiveness, and emotional and binge eating disorder.
